In August 2013, Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences (back then called FH D) committed itself to the National Code of Conduct for German Universities Regarding International Students.
The general assembly of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) adopted the Code of Conduct in November 2009. Its aim is to assure and improve quality support for international students. It was the first code to define quality standards for
- information and promotion,
- admission and
- support during the stay and afterwards
which international students can rely on.
By implementing the Student Support Centre (SSC), HSD has met the Code of Conduct’s requirements regarding advisory service, support and information. HSD’s commitment to the Code of Conduct shows that we acknowledge our responsibility for international students and their special need for support.
