B2RUN cancelled!

Dear B2Runners,
since our last update on the 2020 B2Run season in April, there has now been a further decision by the Federal Government and the Conference of Heads of Government of the Länder with regard to major events under the framework conditions determined by COVID-19. This broadly provides that major events will remain prohibited until (at least) 31 October 2020.
At the end of May, we also conducted a survey among all team captains to get their opinion on a possible continuation of the B2Run season in 2020. With a gratifyingly high participation rate, the majority were against participation in possible catch-up dates in autumn.
Last but not least, from our point of view, we cannot unconditionally guarantee your health, but also that of our employees and partners, when holding an event of our size.
These reasons were decisive factors in our decision on how to proceed:
It is with a heavy heart that we hereby cancel the entire B2Run season 2020.
A summer without your expectant faces at the starting line, without the hustle and bustle of your happy teams on the running courses as well as in the big arenas and, above all, without proud and overjoyed finishers at the finish line, was never imaginable for us. But in view of the above, we are convinced that we made the right decision for everyone involved.
