HSD’s Gender Diversity Action Team (GDAT) is currently working on the following projects:
- Coordinating continued progress on the Gender Diversity Action Plan 2024–2029
- Advising the University Senate in amending the Appointment Regulations (since 2024)
- Strategically developing the pilot project Active Targeted Recruitment to promote equality in appointment procedures as part of the state programme Chancen ergreifen, Forschung und Familie fördern – Programm für chancengerechte Hochschulen in Nordrhein-Westfalen (seizing opportunities, promoting research and family life – programme for equal opportunities in higher education in North Rhine-Westphalia, 2022-2024).
- Coordinating and advising on applications for the Professorinnenprogramm IV des Bundes und der Länder (4th women professors’ programme from the federal and state governments)
- Awareness-raising on the topic of implicit bias in hiring academic staff members
- Supporting HSD in joining the Bündnis gegen Sexismus (alliance against sexism)
