Most international students need a national visa to enter Germany.
Please check in good time whether you need a visa and, if so, which type. Submit your application as early as possible.
Uni assist will send you a confirmation, which states
that your application was forwarded to Hochschule Düsseldorf. You can
use this document for your visa application. It is accepted by most
German embassies. HSD does not issue conditional acceptance letters.

Residence Permit
To be allowed to remain in Germany for the duration of your studies, you must apply for a residence permit at the Foreigners’ Registration Office in your place of residence. You must submit your application before your visa expires.
