The master’s programme in Culture, Aesthetics, Media at HSD focuses on artistic creative, educational, organisational and research-oriented competences. These are deepened and applied in the aesthetic practice of the artistic subject areas (physical education, fine arts, community music, literature, performing arts) as well as in accompanying academic seminars (cultural and media studies, artistic research, project management, education methods). This interdisciplinary approach is complemented by the acquisition and practical use of digital media as a cross-cutting skill.
The programme’s distinctive feature is its transdisciplinary yet practice-oriented approach fostering interlinked thinking – a key qualification for active, creative engagement in the cultural sector.
