​​Engineering – efficient and global

The master’s programme in International Industrial Engineering at HSD integrates economics with engineering. Industrial engineers can address technical issues with commercial expertise and coordinate differing interests. This interdisciplinary programme combines technical and scientific foundations with mathematical analytical as well as economic and social scientific content and competences. This cross-disciplinary training prepares you for careers in technical, economic or interdisciplinary fields.

Special admission requirements
​Successful completion of a bachelor’s or ‘Diplom’ programme in mechanical engineering and/or process engineering or of a comparable, subject-related bachelor’s or ‘Diplom’ programme at a higher education institution – with an overall grade of ‘good’ (2.5) (according to the German grading system) or better or an ECTS grade of A or B.

Regarding the proof of English language proficiency of at least B2 level:

HSD accepts only the certificates listed in the relevant Examination Regulations (in German only), section ‘Voraussetzungen’. Certifictes from ZWEK, DAAD etc.cannot be accepted. Please contact Britta Zupfer in case of any doubts.
