The long night of science (‘Nacht der Wissenschaft’) starts on 13 September 2019 at 17:00 and will keep you busy almost all night.
Experts explain selected research projects in the context of more than 60 info booths, presentations, scientific panel discussions, fun join-in activities and experiments.
The scientists give insight into their research projects in an understandable and entertaining way. Topics include medicine and health, economy and society, media and communication, perception and logic as well as technology and materials. On top of that, you can attend a science slam.
Partners of the night of science 2019: the German diabetes centre DDZ, the research centre Jülich, HHU university, the institute for research on iron ‘Max-Planck Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH’, the university of music RSH, WHU | Otto Beisheim School of Management as well as Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences (HSD).
The event takes place at the heart of Düsseldorf in the HHU information and event centre ‘Haus der Universität’ (Schadowplatz 14, 40212, Düsseldorf).
