We would like to thank Otako, Ugandan autodidact and theatre activist! He taught us a lot in his workshop at Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences in January. Otako shared well-practiced theatre methods and gave us insight into his current work for the #endchildtrafficking campaign. The workshop was organised by the AStA (student union).
The following day, he gave a presentation at Junges Schauspielhaus, one of Düsseldorf’s theatres. He talked about his daily work and some of his projects with the organisation FourSum Uganda. Pictures and videos of his work for the #endchildtrafficking campaign are available here:

Immediately after his presentation, he attended a dinner event at Café Eden. Otako and two others initiated a discussion on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. They invited the audience to participate in the discussion while having dinner.
