Some international students are currently experiencing disbursement difficulties with the blocked account provider BAM! (Bundesweites Anlagenmanagement UG).According to current information, the accounts (at Aareal Bank) have been frozen and the money is therefore safe for the time being.The BaFin (banking supervisory authority) and the Berlin State Criminal Police Office are investigating. The Foreign Office has been informed and writes that a solution is currently being worked on for accounts that have already been opened.If you are affected, please contact the International Office.
