Hochschule Düsseldorf
University of Applied Sciences

The Student Support Centre (SSC) at HSD is the first port of call for (prospective) students and offers you the best possible assistance and advice in a welcoming atmosphere. The SSC unites “under one roof” the Central Academic Advice Office, the International Office, the Psychological Counselling Service and the Student Affairs Offices. Anyone seeking advice should feel at home here and is very welcome in the SSC.

In addition to individual advice, the different SSC units organize various events, such as seminars and lectures. Detailed information can be found under Events and Workshops.

There is an info zone in the SSC waiting area with a range of material for visitor use. Here you can look up information on choice of study programme, how to finance your studies, accommodation, job adverts, employment prospects, semesters abroad etc. Prospective students can apply for places online at the PC terminal, assisted by HSD students working at the centre. There is internet access and students can register for examinations, for example.

Students are on hand at the Student Helpdesk to answer your initial questions.
