Most of the university sports courses are free of charge for all students.
Only a few courses and the weight room cost a fee.

As an HSD student you can participate at the university sports programme ("Hochschulsport"). With a few exemptions (e.g. horse riding, sailing, tennis, weight room, etc.), the university sports courses are free of charge for students.
You can find the current sports programme on the website of the university sports (only available in German).
Most of the sports courses take place at sport facilities of the Heinrich-Heine-University (HHU).
If you want to use the weight room, you must pay a fee of 35€ (per semester) at the university sports office. You have to bring a passport photo with you.
